Heading into last week’s Presidents Cup, the recent format changes were a hot topic for discussion. With each of the first four sessions reduced by one match, Team International’s roster weaknesses were more masked, resulting in the closest race for the trophy in twelve years.

While it was a fantastic week for the sport, not everyone brought their best game. Just like any group effort, some team members pulled more weight than others, and they deserve more recognition. Over the next couple of days, I’ll be analyzing and grading each player’s Presidents Cup performance. These grades are going to be primarily based on points won–after all, points are what win team competitions–but I’ll be factoring in other things too, such as margin of victory, expectations and intangibles. Let’s get to it.
