Jimmy Walker–At last fall’s Ryder Cup, Walker was a stalwart for Team USA, halving three gutsy matches over the first two days and schooling Lee Westwood in Sunday singles. He couldn’t capture the same match play magic in Korea. After mixed results in two matches with go-to partner Rickie Fowler, he teamed up with Chris Kirk in Saturday fourball and was steamrolled; opponents Sang-moon Bae and Hideki Matsuyama won 6 and 5. Standing over the 18th tee during his singles match against Stephen Bowditch, he had a chance to halve it with a win of the hole but bungled it away, allowing the internationals to tie the score. In all, Walker helped to score one point–not the performance that Team USA was looking for from its No. 3 qualifier. Grade: D
