Bubba Watson–In five international match play appearances, Watson has run the gamut from terrific (pretty much any time he’s been paired with Webb Simpson) to terrible (he went 0-3-0 in last year’s Ryder Cup). Luckily for Team USA, he enjoyed a great week in Korea. The ideal team of Watson and Holmes (no, not that Watson and Holmes) won in each of the first two sessions, and while Bubba didn’t beat anyone for the rest of the week, he salvaged two halves, including one in Sunday singles. As long as Watson had avoided putting up another goose egg, Team USA would have been satisfied, so a three-point performance is an undeniable, unqualified success. Grade: A-
