5. Justin Rose
J-Rose got off to a slow start on the European Tour in his first three events of the season. Rose started at the BMW PGA Championship where he tied for 38th. His next event was at the U.S. Open where he tied for 27th despite finishing 5-over for the week.

Rosey’s worst finish came at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open where he placed 74th. He didn’t have a terrible week at the Scottish Open after opening 66-66-72, but his final round 76 hurt him overall as he dropped down the leaderboard.
With the first half of his European Tour season being his worst, the Englishman turned it on for the final stretch. One week after his worst finish of the season, Rose put together a solid run at St Andrews for The Open Championship to finish tied for sixth.
His best finish for the European Tour came at the Masters where he tied for second, but he also had a good showing at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational where he tied for third. Justin followed that up with his solo fourth at the PGA Championship.
Rose is fifth on the European Tour in scoring average with 70 and also ranks fifth in GIRs.
