Emiliano Grillo, Charley Hoffman, and Ryan Moore– 12:18 PM PT Thursday, 7:33 AM PT Friday

Not only is Emiliano Grillo a PGA Tour winner, but he is entertaining to watch. Grillo is going to be a Brooks Koepka like golfer.

Grillo will have his moments where he struggles badly. But, then, he’ll quickly recover and show off his talent and birdie five consecutive holes.

It’s obvious the talent Grillo possesses, but what I want to know is how will Grillo perform the week after winning his first PGA Tour title?

Will he have a letdown coming to, of all places, a tournament in Las Vegas? Or will he stay focused and have another quality week? That’s one of the big things to watch out for this week.

Ryan Moore and Charley Hoffman are both from the area and have had past success here. Moore quietly played well last week while Hoffman took the week off.

There is always a spotlight on golfers that are from an area. The last time Moore was a quasi headline type golfer was back at the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay.

Moore was one of the few golfers that had actually played Chambers Bay, but when it was all said and done, that didn’t matter much. The stakes are, of course, not nearly as high, but it’s worth mentioning.
