$12,300-$10,100

My favorite plays in this group: Rory McIlroy ($12,300), Dustin Johnson ($10,300), and Bubba Watson ($10,500).

Bubba is the defending champion and D.J. has won here in the past. McIlroy has the kind of game that works at Sheshan and with how he’s playing he is worth paying up for.

The downside is you have to make some cheap picks on DraftKings and I’m not a big fan of the golfers in the cheap range this week, unfortunately. So, it’ll be tough to stick McIlroy in a few lineups, but it shall be done.

As we’ve talked about already Bubba and D.J. have won and have had success here in the past. This year should be no different and I don’t mind their prices. You can have them both on your team and still field a good looking lineup.

I’m not crazy about Jordan Spieth ($12,000) this week. He struggled last year finishing T-35 and he may have the same result this year.

Spieth has to knock some rust off and Sheshan just doesn’t match up with Spieth’s game. Spieth is a bit too risky for me to pick up at this price.

Same could be said about Henrik Stenson ($10,100). He didn’t look very good at the CIMB Classic and is scheduled to have surgery on his knee at the end of the year. Typically, I would be all over Stenson, but not in this situation.

Rickie Fowler ($10,300) should be fine. Fowler bounced back from a disastrous Presidents Cup with a solid T-25 finish at the Shriners Open. I just like D.J. more for the same price and I’m willing to pay up just $200 bucks more for Bubba.
