LPGA: Toto Japan Classic Five Top Seeds
I probably don’t need to remind you that the year before Hyo Joo Kim joined the LPGA Tour she won The Evian by out-playing Karrie Webb. She also finished inside the top-10 in all three of her other LPGA events that year. Then she started her rookie year on the Tour!
Kim’s 2015 win at the Founders Cup was impressive. Once again, she took on one of the Tour’s top players — this time it was Stacy Lewis — and showed everybody that she comes to the game fueled by a killer instinct.
If she doesn’t again withdraw, as she did at the Sime Darby and again at the Blue Bay, I look for the inscrutable Kim to be in the mix this week.
