Brooks Koepka

Shifting more of his focus from the European Tour to the PGA TOUR, Koepka is bound to become one of the most popular golfers on TOUR this season.

In order to win on some of the courses on the PGA TOUR, it’s imperative to have distance in your game. Luckily for Brooks Koepka, he’s one of the longest hitters on TOUR and he uses it to his advantage.

  • Koepka kind of flew under the radar last season as he tried balancing life on the PGA TOUR as well as the European Tour. Some people forget he won the Waste Management Phoenix Open, along with eight top 10s and 14 top 25s in 23 starts.

On the European Tour, Brooks had four top 10s and eight top 20s in 11 starts last season. He’s had consistent success on both Tours, but it’s a difficult life to live trying to do both.

He recently announced that he would be giving up his European Tour status and focusing on the PGA TOUR. In doing so, Koepka will start getting a lot more attention once people realize his name on top of the leaderboards.

Koepka had an impressive showing at the majors in 2015. His worst finish came at the Masters where he tied for 33rd, but only improve from there. He followed that with a T-18 at the U.S. Open, T-10 at The Open Championship, and T-5 at the PGA Championship.

After missing out on making the Presidents Cup team this year, Koepka is hungry to make the Ryder Cup roster at the end of this season. Look for that to fuel him this year. This kid is only going to become more popular throughout the season, so you better hop on the bandwagon while there’s still room.
