24. Nick Faldo

Faldo was a world No 1 for 97 weeks. His worldwide victory count numbers 41 and includes tournaments on all continents. Faldo won six major championships during his illustrious career, including the Masters in 1989, 1990 and 1996 and three British Opens in 1987, 1990 and 1992.

Faldo won 30 times on the European Tour and nine times on the PGA Tour, including the Northern Trust Open, the Doral Open and The RBC Heritage.

His Ryder Cup record is stellar. He has the points record for Europe. He made the team in 1977, 1979, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995 and 1997. He captained the team in 2008.
Faldo received the MBE honor in 1998 and was knighted in 2009.
