Who Are The 50 Best Golfers in History?
19. Inbee Park
Park moved from Korea to the U.S. when she was 12 to focus on her golf career, and it has proven to be a good decision. She won three consecutive major championships in 2013, something that has been accomplished by few men or women in golf history. Even Jack Nicklaus never won more than two majors in a season. As a result she became the No. 1 woman player in the world and remained there for more than a year.
Park has seven majors in all, one Kraft, three LPGAs, two U.S. Women’s Opens and one Women’s British Open. Her U.S. Open victory in 2008 was also her first win.
Her most recent ones were the KPMG Womens PGA this summer followed by the Women’s British Open. With 25 professional wins, 28% of her victories have been majors. She has 17 LPGA wins and the rest are international.
