43. Rory McIlroy
McIlroy is still a work in progress, but even at his young age, he has already won four major championships, The British Open, the U.S. Open and two PGAs. The only thing keeping him from a higher place in the rankings is his victory total: 18 worldwide and 11 of them on the PGA Tour.
His first PGA Tour victory was at the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow in 2010, and his most recent was in that same tournament last May. His first European Tour event victory was the Dubai Desert Classic in 2009.
He was leading money winner and Player of the Year on the PGA Tour in 2012 and 2014. He also won the Vardon Trophy and Byron Nelson trophies for low scoring average in those two years. In 2014, he was voted European Golfer of the Year.
He won the Race to Dubai three times, most recently this year. He has been No. 1 in the world for 95 weeks.
