#2: The champions in 2013, Matt Kuchar and Harris English will look to make it twice in three years this week.

These two will be in their comfort zone this week–English and Kuchar, winners at Tiburon in 2013, have gone 65-under over the past two Shootouts and have never finished outside the top two as a tandem. Maybe there’s a kind of special synergy between them; both men are residents of Sea Island, Georgia.

Despite their strong history together, neither one is in the best form at the moment, at least when compared to Holmes or Reed. Kuchar and English are still favorites this week, but not quite solid enough to get to that top spot.
