22. 2013 Bridgestone Invitational
Now you may be wondering what was so special about the Bridgestone Invitational in 2013. Tiger Woods won the tournament in relatively easy fashion, coasting to a seven-stroke victory at -15.
What makes this tournament so significant is that this is the last time we’ve seen Tiger Woods win a tournament. I’m not saying he won’t ever win again, but until he does, this could be the last victory of his career until he changes that.
Tiger opened up with a 4-under 66 to put himself in contention after the first round, but it was his Friday that sealed the deal for him. Woods fired off a 61 to take a seven-stroke lead into the weekend where he would eventually hang on to win.
It was the 15th WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and the eighth time Tiger Woods won it. It was also the 18th World Golf Championship of his career. We can only hope it’s not his last.
