4. 2007 PGA Championship

The 2007 PGA Championship was one of Tiger Woods greatest major wins for many reasons. Woods won his 13th major after shooting an opening round 1-over.

As if nothing happened in his first round, Woods came out on Friday and fired off a 63 to tie the lowest round in a major. His second round 7-under was good enough to catapult him into first place, where he’d remain the rest of the tournament.

He improved to 13-0 when holding the 54-hole lead in a major championship and collected his fourth career Wanamaker Trophy.

In the middle of Oklahoma’s summer heat, Tiger destroyed the Southern Hills course while most others struggled. Only 16 golfers were under par in the final round and Woods was one of them. His second round 63 tied the course record previously set by Raymond Floyd at the 1982 PGA Championship.
