Tiger Woods: 30 Best Wins of His Career
By Matt Cochran
2. 1997 Masters
Speaking of dominating major performances, it doesn’t get much better than Tiger’s win at the 1997 Masters. Not only did he win by 12 shots, but he did so at the young age of 21 years old to become the youngest golfer to win a Green Jacket.
Even more tremendous is that he became the first non-white golfer to win at Augusta National, breaking down a huge race barrier that haunted the game of golf.
His score of 18-under is a tournament record that was tied by Jordan Spieth earlier in 2015. It was also the largest margin of victory at the hallowed grounds of Augusta.
Scores of 70-66-65-69 to win your first major at the at of 21 is an incredible feat. Had Tiger not won a major on a broken leg, this would be his greatest victory.
