Women’s Golf: Dubai Ladies Masters Fantasy Picks
Larsen seems to have found a winning game in her bag this year. Look for her to pull it out one last time in Dubai.
Nicole Broch Larsen has been having a very strong sophomore year on the Ladies European Tour. After a solo 3rd place finish at the Buick Championship and a T4th at the ISPS Handa Ladies European Masters, Larsen notched her first LET win this year at the Helsingborg Open, just in time to get her ticket punched to the Evian.
Larsen mixed it up with golf’s top players at Evian and after three sub-par rounds was looking like she was going to cruise to a top-10 finish – her first at a major – until she ran into trouble on the par-3 5th in the final round. A double bogey destroyed her momentum and when it was over Larsen finished at T11th. But it was a solid finish for the young Dane, who went on to collect a T10 at the Xiamen International Ladies Open.
Look for Larsen, an emerging star on the LET, to deliver a solid game at the Emirates and with just a bit of good luck to challenge the top of the board.
