Baltusrol Golf Club was the first club to host both the U.S. Open and Women’s U.S. Open Championships on two different golf courses.

Baltusrol Golf Club will be hosting the PGA Championship in 2016 for the second time in its history.
Baltusrol is one for the big boys. Baltusrol Golf Club comes in at 7,400 yards, which isn’t a whole lot for a par 72 – which it normally is, but for the majors it turns into a par 70 which makes for a much longer course.
Baltusrol has been a part of some moments as Jack Nicklaus won two U.S. Opens here and Phil Mickelson won the 2005 PGA Championship, the last major Baltusrol has held to this point.
Overall, Baltusrol has hosted seventeen major championships in its history including seven U.S. Opens and two U.S. Women’s Open.
One of the most impressive and unique accomplishments is the fact that Baltusrol was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2014.
