I have the ultimate fantasy golf round on my list.

I’ve long harbored a secret fantasy: to play a round of golf with Mary, Queen of Scots, Babe Zaharias, and Dame Laura Davies.
Because I believe in both time travel and Santa Claus this seems like the opportune moment to put the fantasy out there and see what happens.
If the game of golf is a testing ground for developing enduring life lessons, I’ve believed for some time that there are some important lessons to be learned from these three women. From Mary, the mobilization and focus of personal power; from The Babe, how to live on the very edge of your dreams; from Dame Laura, how to fuse dignity and grit. I wouldn’t get it all in one round, but I could make a start.
It’s believed that Mary played golf on the St Andrews links and Dame Laura is a member, so it just makes sense that we would play our round at St Andrews.
The cost: This is another case of not thinking about cost. It’s kind of like shopping at Neiman Marcus.
