The 2015 year is coming to a close and we won’t see any golf until the new year. Fortunately, there was enough that went down on the PGA TOUR this year to keep us preoccupied until 2016.

Without Tiger Woods dominating every weekend like the old days, critics began to worry that the “numbers” were dropping and people were losing interest in the game of golf. On the contrary, the 2015 season was enough to convince me that golf is trending in a positive direction.

This year included the dominance of Jordan Spieth, the emergence of a new Big 3, and even a golfer hitting two hole-in-ones in one round with Brian Harman at the Barclays. In over 1 million rounds played in 75 years on the PGA TOUR, only three people in the history of the TOUR have hit two aces in one round.

Jarrod Lyle gave us all a reality check when he won the Courage Award after overcoming two battles with acute myeloid leukemia. He reminded us that there are some bigger problems in life than missing that par putt on 18.

If the 2015 season told us anything, it’s that there is plenty to look forward to in the new year. With that being said, here’s a look back at the top five moment from the 2015 season on the PGA TOUR.
