4. Rookies Invade the PGA TOUR
While Davis Love III winning at 51 years old is impressive, the rookie performances on the PGA TOUR in 2015 was even more electric.
There were 11 first-time winners on during the 2014-15 season and the 2015-16 year has already given us six first-time winners with five of those being rookies. Here’s a look at the first-time winners this in 2015.

Justin Thomas and Daniel Berger led their rookie classes for 2014-15 and it appears that this new rookie class will be even more exciting. With names like Emiliano Grillo who has already won and Harold Varner III, youth in the game has never been more prominent.
It’s promising to see young players contending every weekend and a new winner in almost every tournament. Seeing golfers like Jordan Spieth going out and winning majors has given a new sense of confidence for the young guns. They believe they can compete with the best in the world, even if your name happens to be Tiger Woods.
