Ranked fourth in the world, Bubba Watson will look to make his fourth Ryder Cup squad.

2016 is an even-numbered year, so Watson’s just about guaranteed to win the Masters. Right? Even if he doesn’t, the southpaw is still in a strong position to make his fourth consecutive Ryder Cup squad–a runner-up at the WGC-Bridgestone and a solo third at the WGC-Cadillac Championship are the main reasons for that.

Over the past two years, Watson has upped his consistency tremendously and risen all the way to No. 4 in the world. At this point, failing to make the Ryder Cup team would be simply uncharacteristic–he’s truly one of the game’s elite. That’s great, because Watson brings the ideal attitude and energy for the competition–how could anyone forget this moment?
