PGA TOUR: Top 5 Shots from 2015

5. Francesco Molinari
Waste Management Phoenix Open – TPC Scottsdale
Hole 16
Ace
The Waste Management Phoenix Open is arguably one of the greatest parties on the PGA TOUR, especially when you roll through the enclosed 16th hole. Completely surrounded by stands, the hole is transformed into the rowdiest environment in all of golf.
Which is why Francesco Molinari’s trip during the 3rd round made things even more memorable. Pulling out a pitching wedge from 135 yards away, the Italian watched his tee shot track the pin until it came to rest in the bottom of the cup.
Cue the beer showers. A lot of the fans in the crowd at the Waste Management are college kids from Arizona State and Arizona. Those fans sacrificed the $10 price of the beer to throw it into the air in celebration.
Luckily the tournament was sponsored by a waste management and environmental services company, meaning the clean up quick and effective allowing the next group to tee off without any problems.
