PGA TOUR: Top 5 Shots from 2015
By Matt Cochran
2. Bubba Watson
WGC-HSBC Champions – Shanghai
72nd Hole
Eagle
In what has become a forgotten shot on the PGA TOUR this season, Bubba Watson makes the list with his incredible hole out at the WGC-HSBC Champions. It happened to be one of the first tournaments of the wraparound season, so it gets overlooked.
Bubba holed out from a green side bunker on the 72nd hole of the tournament to force a playoff with Tim Clark. Ultimately, Bubba would go on to beat Clark on the first hole of the playoff to win his first World Golf Championship.
Give the circumstances and the pressure that was on Bubba to force a playoff and then to execute and get the win proves why Watson is one of the to players on the PGA TOUR today.
