Paul Dunne
Paul Dunne made his name with his stellar play at The Open Championship. Dunne will be a professional full-time in 2016
As an amateur, Paul Dunne co-led after three rounds at last year’s Open Championship.
Dunne fell down the leaderboard on Sunday, but there was no shame in that. Just making the cut at a major is impressive for an amateur, much less leading after three rounds. Dunne showed the type of potential he possesses.
A couple of months after The Open Championship, Dunne officially announced he was turning professional and he got off on the right foot finishing T-19 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Dunne followed that up with a T-25 at the British Masters and T-68 at the Portugal Masters.
Dunne is a very talented golfer and it’s going to be fun watching him this season and watching him grow as the years progress. Dunne will be someone to watch for the next few years.
