Chris Wood

The quietly quality, consistent Chris Wood will look to make the transition into one of the better players on the European Tour next year

I think Chris Wood is a good guy and a quality golfer, but he hasn’t taken that next step yet in his career. Wood is someone to keep an eye on just to see if he can, and will, make it to the next level.

Wood has always been a quality, consistent golfer. In 2012, Wood made 19 cuts.

In 2013, Wood only missed the cut in two events, plus he earned his first career win at the Bank Qatar Masters.

in 2014, Wood took maybe a step back as he missed seven cuts, but still finished in the top ten six times that year.

Overall, Wood has taken baby steps to reaching near the top of the mountain, but he hasn’t gotten there yet, but he continues to linger around.

Wood finished strong in 2015 finishing inside the top nine in four of his last six tournaments. Let’s see if he will end up carrying that momentum into next year.
