19. Lee Trevino’s Fighting Golf
Super Mex vs. Big Jumbo; Miracle Chosuke and Pretty Amy go toe-to-toe…on the golf course, that is, not in fisticuffs.
Developed: SNK

Release Date: March 1988
Lee Trevino’s Fighting Golf was one of the first golf games in video game history and it was pretty decent.
As you might expect, Lee Trevino’s Fighting Golf didn’t have licenses for golf courses and aside from Lee Trevino no real golfers either.
You had four golfers to pick between Super Mex, Miracle Chosuke, Pretty Amy, and Big Jumbo. All four golfers had their own respective strengths and weaknesses and then you got to play on either the course in the United States or the course in Japan.
Actually, when searching around, I found a website where you can play Lee Trevino’s Fighting Golf via web browser.
I don’t recommend playing it like that, I’d rather have a controller in my hand, but playing it on that website does give you an idea of what the game was all about.
Also, much to the dismay of probably a lot of folks, there is no fighting in this game.
