This hole-out proves there’s aways the chance of redemption.

This hole-out from the fairway on the par-4 13th hole during Angela Stanford’s third round at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational proves that there’s redemption in golf.

That was a horrible round for Stanford. She’d been fighting bogeys and she started the hole playing a little adventure golf in the trees. That shot gave her one of the two birdies she put on her card, which couldn’t offset four bogeys and a double. She carded a 76, which sent her tumbling down the board.

Stanford finished the Lorena Ochoa with a share of 16th place, but I’m betting she’ll remember the hole-out long after the memory of the double bogey that came three holes later, on the 16th, has faded.
