With an emphatic late-season win, Victor Dubuisson is back in the thick of the Ryder Cup discussion.

This Frenchman’s pair of Turkish Airlines Open titles are his only two on the European Tour, so he’s clearly found a comfort zone in Antalya. In fact, one of those wins came just a few weeks ago. Throw in his most recent finish, a tie for fourth at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, and you can see how Dubuisson is trailing McIlroy by a mere 6,000 European Points.

Although he’s just 25–younger than McIlroy–Dubuisson proved his value to Team Europe by helping to score 2.5 points in 2014. If he continues his strong play, he’ll get a chance to build on that performance next fall.
