He went winless in 2015, but Henrik Stenson can still be a major contributor next September.
With six runner-up finishes and zero wins, 2015 was a bit of a frustrating year for Stenson, who, at the age of 39, will start to see his victory window close faster and faster. The consolation is that those second place finishes have lifted him to the top spot on the World Points List, more than 30 points ahead of his closest competition.
A typically strong performer at the majors, Stenson has notched four top 10s over the last three seasons–contending for even just one in 2016 ought to be enough to guarantee his presence on the team. It would be his fourth career appearance.
