Ryder Cup: Early Frontrunners for Team Europe
By Sam Belden
Can the inexperienced Kristoffer Broberg possibly hold his spot on the World Points List?
It was shaping up to be just another ho-hum season for this 29-year-old Swede, but all of that changed with an unexpected win at the BMW Masters. Now, Broberg finds himself in position to qualify for his first Ryder Cup team–though, to be fair, six others are within ten points of him.
While Broberg impressed fans and pundits with his victory, he’ll need to keep that kind of form going if he wants a shot at making Team Europe. Given that he’s spent a total of five weeks inside the top 100 of the world rankings, he’s a longshot.
