Gulugian is bringing some Junior Solheim experience to her rookie year that could pay long-term benefits.

The Irvine, California native put together five steady rounds to finish T36 to earn LPGA status. The recent UCLA graduate had a strong rookie campaign on the Symetra Tour in 2015, finishing 34th on the Volvik Race for the Card money list. She totaled three top 10 finishes. Gulugian will be the first Armenian golfer to compete on the LPGA. Her favorite athlete is Ronda Rousey. Her sister, Ari, plays golf at the University of Arizona.
