10. Harold Varner III

Age: 25

OWGR: 280th

Harold Varner III is one of the many rookies new to the PGA TOUR in 2015-16 after locking up his card by placing 25th on the Web.com money list. He secured his TOUR card by only $943.37.

Varner is also the only African American to qualify for the TOUR through the Web.com Tour, making him one of the only black players to play next to Tiger Woods.

He’s known for his distance off the tee, averaging 312.9 yards on the Web.com Tour. That would have put him fourth among TOUR pros and he’s only 5 ft. 8 in.

His best finish through the Fall Swing was a tie for fifth at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba. He had a chance at the Frys.com Open with opening rounds of 65-70-69, but faltered in the final round.
