  • The Florida State alum found himself with a shot of winning the Honda Classic back in March, but fell short in a playoff against Padraig Harrington. He really made a statement towards the end of the year in the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

He was the only rookie to qualify for the TOUR Championship and even finished in solo second at the BMW Championship. Unfortunately for Berger, it was Jason Day who was running away with the tournament and didn’t have a hope of catching him.

The 22 year old hit a rough stretch in July and August, but found his groove in the final three playoff events, placing no worse than T-12. It will be exciting to see what kind of campaign he puts together when the new season starts up in the end of October.
