Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic Fantasy Picks
Katie Burnett and Brooke Pancake could both fill out your fantasy team for the Pure Silk-Bahamas.
This last groups presents some challenges to fantasy golf players because there are many unknowns when we get to the high-ranked players.
There are a number of rookies in this group, some of them quite promising. Annie Park and Gabby Lopez are both making their pro debut this week at the Pure Silk-Bahamas and I think these two players, in particular, are destined to rise quickly through the rankings. But this week both are untested.

What about Laetitia Beck, the promising Israeli who played her collegiate golf for the Blue Devils and is starting her sophomore year? She took a pass on the Pure Silk-Bahamas last year. I think she’s as risky a pick as Annie Park or Gabby Lopez, but one that could pay off nicely.
Brooke Pancake, who’s starting her 3rd year on the Tour, might be a more solid fantasy pick. Pancake’s still looking for her first top-10 but she played 72 holes last year on the Ocean Course.
Another possibility is Katie Burnett, also starting her 3rd year on the Tour. Like Pancake, Burnett struggled in 2015 to make the cut and in her case she missed the cut at the Pure Silk. However, Burnett spent some time at the end of 2015 playing Ladies European Tour events and building her competitive experience. She’s likely to be much better prepared for the challenges of the Ocean Club this year than she was in 2015.
I think either Pancake or Burnett would make a solid addition to any fantasy team for the Pure Silk-Bahamas.
