Omega Dubai Desert Classic Fantasy Picks
By Matt Cochran
Graeme McDowell
McDowell is making his first start of the season on the European Tour this week at Emirates GC. Despite falling off in his most recent start, McDowell had a strong start in the Fall Swing on the PGA TOUR.
The Ulsterman grabbed a win at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba and followed that up with a solo third at the RSM Classic and a T-29 at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.
He tied for ninth last year at this event. His last time playing in the tournament before 2015 was in 2010 when he tied for 20th, so his track record is fairly decent at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
I’m a firm believer that 2016 will be a big year for McDowell as he tries to regain his prominence in the Official World Golf Ranking.
