Brandt Snedeker is the defending champ this week. Can he become the 16th man to win multiple titles at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am?

We’re right in the thick of a fantastic portion of the PGA Tour schedule. Last week, we saw Torrey Pines get walloped by wind and rain–and by Brandt Snedeker, who ended up hoisting the trophy. Currently, the players are at TPC Scottsdale, playing in front of some of the best (and loudest) fans in golf. Next, the tour heads to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and after that comes Riviera. If you’re a fan of great courses, you’ve been in hog heaven.

Of course, the most venerated of those four is Pebble Beach Golf Links, which, along with Spyglass Hill Golf Club and Monterey Peninsula Country Club, is the host of this week’s event. Fans will be treated to some jaw-dropping views, and we’ll hopefully get to see some incredible golf too.

With some of the world’s best players in the field, we probably won’t go wanting. After a week off, Jordan Spieth and Jason Day, both in the world’s top three, will be in town; so will No. 5 Bubba Watson, No. 7 Justin Rose, No. 8 Dustin Johnson and No. 9 Patrick Reed.

Not to be forgotten is the event’s unconventional pro-am format. All professionals in the field are paired with an amateur partner. Over the four days, two trophies are on the line: the individual title, for which the pros are credited with a normal PGA Tour win, and the pro-am title. The cut doesn’t occur until after 54 holes have been played, at which point the low 6o pros and low 25 pro-am teams advance to the final round. On the telecast, keep an eye out for some famous faces–pop singer Justin Timberlake, actor Mark Wahlberg and baseball superstar Josh Donaldson are among those in this week’s star-studded field.

Without further ado, let’s get to it. Here are the best bets for success at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
