Charley F’n Hoffman is always a safe value play. Let’s not forget the season he had last year with a win, two runner-up finishes, one third place and seven top 10s.

He hit a rough stretch to start off his 2015-16 PGA TOUR year, but he’s coming off a great showing last week at the WGC-Cadillac Championship where he finished tied for 17th at the difficult Blue Monster. He tied for 12th in greens in regulation last week. That accuracy doesn’t hurt entering a course like Copperhead.

He tied for 25th at the Valspar Championship back in 2014, tied for 14th in 2012, and tied for 19th in 2009. He’s also six for nine in made cuts at Copperhead.
