If you’re looking for a more subdued Myrtle Beach/Grand Strand experience Tidewater Golf Club deserves a close look.  The Charlotte Observer has described Tidewater as the “Pebble Beach of the East” and having played both tracks I’d have to agree with that assessment.

Tidewater is one of the best courses in the Southeast. Check-in is easy and user-friendly, the practice areas are top-notch, and the course is kept in pristine condition.  With marsh, inlet and ocean views, the course takes full advantage of the environment and every hole challenges.

You won’t get the mega-resort amenities at Tidewater that you’ll find at Barefoot Resort, but if golf is what you came to play, Tidewater will feed your soul.
