Brooke Henderson is playing hot and hungry for her 1st 2016 win. She’ll play for the top of the Founders Cup board.

With the exception of Lexi Thompson, who’s in New York City promoting the Drive, Chip & Putt Championship with Jordan Spieth, and In Gee Chun, who’s apparently still not physically ready to contend, the top 20 Rolex Ranked players in women’s golf are in the Founders Cup field.

The oddsmakers are putting Lydia Ko, Ha Na Jang, Stacy Lewis, and defending champion Hyo Joo Kim is very close contention for the win and I think any of them will be a safe pick from this group. But you may want to factor other considerations.

Cristie Kerr will be playing on home turf. Kerr lives and trains in Scottsdale. She knows how to work the desert environment and she knows how to win. Don’t count her out.

With 3 top-10 finishes in her last four starts, Brooke Henderson is also an attractive fantasy golf pick from this group. Perhaps the only player in this group who’s hungrier for a win than Henderson is Stacy Lewis, but Lewis’s game doesn’t seem to be quite as focused as Henderson’s coming in to the Founders Cup.
