In addition to his impressive competitive success, Harrington was won the European Tour Order of Merit (2006), been twice recognized as the European Tour Golfer of the Year (2007, 2008), and PGA Player of the Year (2008).

Harrington has played for Ireland five times in the Alfred Dunhill Cup (1996-2000) and nine times in the World Cup (1998-2006). He’s played for Europe in six Ryder Cups and and for GB&I at 4 Seve Trophy competitions.
