ORLANDO, FL – MARCH 25: Television personality David Feherty poses with a patron during Day One of the Tavistock Cup held at Isleworth Golf and Country Club on March 25, 2013 in Orlando, Florida. (Photo by Michael Cohen/Getty Images) /

David Feherty     Born 1958, Bangor

David Feherty played pro golf on the European and PGA Tours from 1976 until 1997, collecting ten championships, captaining the victorious 1990 Alfred Dunhill Cup team, and playing for Europe on the 1991 Ryder Cup team.

We all love Feherty. We love his wit, his wisdom, his unique interview style, and his outspoken observations on life and politics.

In addition to his television golf commentary and interviews, Federty’s found the time to author four books since he retired from competition in 1997 – A Nasty Bit of Rough, Somewhere in Ireland a Village Is Missing an Idiot, An Idiot for All Seasons, and David Feherty’s Totally Subjective History of the Ryder Cup

David Feherty is now an Irish ex-pat living in Dallas!
