Peyton Manning will have plenty of time to play golf during his retirement, but Pat McAfee lets us all know what it’s like to go golfing with the Sheriff.

You may or may not know who Pat McAfee is, but you sure as hell know the name Peyton Manning. McAfee is the punter for the Indianapolis Colts and played alongside the Sheriff during his time in Indy.

Manning announced his retirement earlier this offseason after winning Super Bowl 50, while McAfee has spent his downtime trying out stand-up comedy. Surprisingly, the punter is pretty hilarious.

He’s currently using his offseason on a comedy tour around Indiana and celebrated Manning’s retirement by sharing a pretty incredible story about a golf trip he took with Peyton and some teammates.

McAfee has no problem ripping himself apart about how terrible his golf game is, even telling the crowd he lost about 75 of Peyton Manning’s golf balls.

The golf trip itself sounds pretty amazing, but McAfee talks about the night before their tee time in the casino that will make you reconsider ever betting against Peyton Manning.

Before you watch this video, I should preface with a little bit about McAfee’s past. When the punter was 23 in 2010, he was suspended for one game after he was arrested for public intoxication. This story itself is pretty amazing, but he was caught swimming in a city canal early in the morning after a night of heavy drinking.

Here’s an excerpt describing the police report:

"According to the police report, McAfee was asked whether he was swimming in the canal and answered, “I am not sure.” When he was asked why he was wet, McAfee responded, “It was raining.” When he was asked where his shirt was, McAfee said, “In the water.” And when he was asked how much he had to drink, McAfee said, “A lot ’cause I’m drunk.”"

I’m not just filling you in on this incident because it’s hilarious, but it is relevant to McAfee’s stand-up routine. Enjoy.

It seems like McAfee has a future on stage. As for Manning, he’ll have plenty of time for golf trips in retirement. He even addressed it in his retirement speech.

He’ll also have pretty famous playing partner to hit the links with him. Tiger Woods was busy tweeting during Manning’s retirement speech to address the situation.
