For Langasque this week at Augusta National will be experience-building.

Frenchman Romain Langasque holds the current British Amateur Championship, which got him an invite to the 2016 Masters.

In November Langasque fell short of advancing to the final stage of the European Tour Q-School by eight shots. However, the Frenchman retained his amateur status and his eligibility to play in the Masters.

In February 2016 Langasque competed in the Jones Cup Invitational at Ocean Forest Golf Club in Sea Island, GA where he finished T25 at +16.
