Henderson will play for the lead and then the win. Watch her go!

You couldn’t ask for a better group to watch if you’re looking for some early excitement in Prattville. Brooke Henderson is knocking at the door and has been all season. Haru Nomura has kicked the door down not once, but twice. And Chris Tamulis is going to come off the first tee determined to deliver the best possible defense of her only pro title.

With a morning tee time (8:21 am) on Thursday this group is going to give us a good idea of how the Senator Course is playing. I’m expecting to see Henderson and Nomura in red numbers right away. Fifth ranked Henderson ranks 2nd on the Tour in birdies recorded and 23rd ranked Nomura leads the Tour in birdies recorded.

Watch these two take charge. This is Henderson’s Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic debut and Nomura finished T35 in 2015. I don’t look for that to matter. One of them will set the Thursday pace.
