Can Katie Burnett recover the magic she had in Hawaii and put it to work at the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic?

Can Katie Burnett recapture the magic of Hawaii? She’s a southern girl and should be feeling right at home in Prattville. She didn’t bounce back at Swinging Skirts – she missed the cut – but she played the weekend in Texas. Her game’s trending in the right direction for another run at the front page of the leaderboard, and Burnett has a brilliant short game, which will serve her well this week. Let’s see if she can get herself into red numbers Thursday.

That may be all the confidence boost she needs to turn it loose again.

I’m looking for Joanna Klatten and Mi Hyang Lee to trail Burnett. Neither of them has the short game that Burnett carries in her bag. They could surprise me, but I see Katie Burnett dominating this group.
