The Crossings, which hosts the LPGA Tour each spring, provides an open parkland type ambiance. Several water features and crushed oyster shell waste areas were added during the recent renovations. The Falls, which was renovated and reopened in 2010, is the only par-71 course on the Trail. The main course is characterized by large, liberally contoured Mini Verde greens and massive cloverleaf bunkers. Several holes were entirely redesigned giving the course a brand new look.
The Magnolia Grove Short Course is a real treat – described by Golf Digest as the best par-3 course in America. The Short Course, also recently renovated, features several newly designed putting surfaces and is as good as any collection of one-shotters on the championship courses.
A quick hop across Mobile Bay will take you to Point Clear and the 11th stop on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.
