AT&T Byron Nelson is taking the PGA TOUR from one TPC venue to another. This week we’ll be at the TPC Four Seasons in Irving, TX.

TPC Sawgrass, home of THE PLAYERS Championship, always provides an ideal stage for some thrilling golf, but after a full week of the excitement that comes with golf’s fifth major, the AT&T Byron Nelson at TPC Four Seasons should provide a refreshing return to normalcy.

Once upon a time, the Nelson habitually boasted one of the strongest fields on the PGA TOUR, but those days are mostly over. This year, just two of the world’s top 10 players will be in attendance, along with five others in the top 20. Given the impending schedule crunch that now comes with an Olympic year, that’s understandable, but it does little to help pay tribute to the great Byron Nelson, the late Hall of Famer whose affiliation with the event dates back to 1968.
