Here’s our short list for this week’s Ladies Dream Golf Pick-4 Contest.

The only LPGA fantasy golf game you can play for free or for cash prizes, Ladies Dream Golf gives back to the game by sponsoring Symetra Tour players. The Pick 4 challenge spreads the fantasy team risk across the field. Managers choose four players from fixed categories to make the cut, with bonus points for picking the winner.

This week, strong picks from group 1 include Brooke Henderson, Gerina Piller, Charley Hull, Shanshan Feng, and Haru Nomura – all likely to finish on the front page of the leaderboard. Any of them would make a solid anchor for your team and we see all five as potential winners this week.

Take a pass on Stacy Lewis. She’s just not performing. Keep an eye on Alison Lee, but don’t put her on your team until she shows that’s she’s back on track.

Safe picks from Group 2 include Karrie Webb, Austin Ernst, Karine Icher, Sandra Gal, and Catriona Matthew. They’re all consistently solid players although they’re not likely to notch a win.

Picking players from Groups 3 and 4 who are likely to make the cut becomes more challenging. These are the lower-ranked players who often haven’t established a track record or are just getting settled in to their pro careers.

That said, from Group 3 Juli Inkster, Megan Khang and Jaye Marie Green all stand out. Inkster may be at the end of her competitive career but she consistently delivers a solid game. Khang and Green are young and just getting established in their pro careers, but when they’re on their game they deliver solid, competitive golf. They’re probably the least risky of the high-risk choices in this group.

The Group 4 choices becomes even more difficult, but I’d go with a couple of the rookies, Rachel Rohana and Alejandra Llaneza, or Stephanie Meadow.  Rohana and Llaneza have both delivered some impressive rounds this year, so I know they have A Games in their bags. Meadow is a superb golfer whose game collapsed at the death of her father. She’s working hard to make a comeback and has a solid game to work with.
