The Thai team is likely to be the fantasy sleeper at the 2016 Crown.

I think Thailand may surprise fans this year. The Thai team is likely to include Pornanong Phatlum, Ariya Jutanugarn, Moriya Jutanugarn – all members of the Thai 2014 International Crown team – and Nontaya Srisawang, who has played primarily on the Ladies European Tour. Thidapa Suwannapura and PK Kongkraphan are lined up behind Srisawang.

The Jutanugarn Sister Act could prove an impenetrable wall. Like the Spanish Armada, the Jutanugarns have been playing golf together since they were children and they will make a well-oiled match play team.  They halved their match against Beatriz Ricari and Belen Mozo in 2014, went on to defeat Candie Kung and Teresa Lu, but then fell to the overwhelming firepower of Cristie Kerr and Lexi Thompson.

Of course, Phatlum and Srisawang are going to need to step up their games because the Sister Act can’t get the job done without help.
