England’s International Crown team is packed with experienced match players.

England didn’t qualify for the 2014 International Crown so this will be their debut. I’m expecting a strong performance, even though their 6th place ranking coming in doesn’t seem especially threatening. Given the likely team’s match play experience, that ranking is deceptive.

Charley Hull, Holly Cyburn, Mel Reid and Jodi Ewart Shadoff currently lead England’s roster with Hanna Burke and Georgia Hall in reserve.

Hull, Reid, and Ewart Shadoff will all bring both Curtis Cup and Solheim Cup experience to the 2016 Crown and Clyburn has also played for GB&I in the Curtis Cup. Like the Spaniards, the Englishwomen have been competing in match play formats since they were children.

England will challenge at the Merit Club in July!
